5th Ordinary Meeting of the West African Capital Markets Integration Council (WACMIC)
The West African Capital Markets Integration Council (WACMIC) held its​ meeting from March 5-6, 2015 at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, Nigeria, to review the reports of the Technical Committees and to chart the way forward for the integration of Capital Markets in West Africa. The meeting was hosted by the Securities and Exchange ​Commission, Nigeria, and sponsored by the ECOWAS Commission. ​Click here for the Commu​nique​​ 

Launch of Phase 1
Pursuant to the announcement by the West African Capital Markets Integration Council (WACMIC) of the launch of Phase 1 (Sponsored Access),  and  in order to facilitate a seamless integration process  across the  West African sub-region, Phase 1 has been structured into two  (2)  sub-phases. The first sub-phase is  Direct Market Access (DMA), leading to the second sub-phase, Sponsored Access (SA). Read more​​

4th Ordinary Meeting of the West African Capital Markets Integration Council (WACMIC)
The West African Capital Markets Integration Council (WACMIC) held its 4th meeting from March 31 to April 1, 2014 at Sofitel Hotel Ivoire, in Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire to reiterate its commitment to the integration of capital markets in West Africa, and to finalize preparations for the commencement of Phase 1 of the integration initiative. WACMIC Interactive Workshops:  February 12 and 14, 2014
