NSE Real Time Feeds are made widely available through the NSE global Market Data Vendors which enable financial institutions to distribute data across a range of internal and external applications. Firms are also able to deliver Real Time Exchange Data to clients through password protected trading portals and client facing platforms. The goal is to enable users to provide superior service based on consistent, reliable and actionable data. Clients are able to; - use Real Time Feeds for automated calculations, processing and order execution- create or derive tradable products based partly or wholly on NSE Market Data - leverage on NSE Market Data for proper fund administration and analysis to achieve alpha returns A Data Agreement is required to be in place for Derived Data and Non-display usage of Real Time market information. Corporate Actions: Notification of all corporate actions occurs via NSE feed and can also be found on the Corporate Disclosures webpage. X-Gen News, an earnings e-mail notification service is also available on annual subscription. See pricelist for details. Broker Ranking Service: NSE Broker Performance reports provide a monthly, annual and year-to-date ranking of Dealing Members by volume and value of transactions. See pricelist for details. Historical Data: End of Day historical quotes may be purchased from the Exchange as far back as 1996 while Tick Data can be requested for a period of three months only. This service is available only on request. Historical trading data is provided to customers for a fee upon request. NSE offers 80% discount to students of higher learning institutions.
End of Day Reports (EOD): Data reports are generated at the end of each trading day. They provide information on the various securities traded during the course of each day. NSE provides a number of reports via its website at no cost, these can be found in the downloads section. Reports are also available through e-mail subscription. See pricelist for details.
